Manulife Investment Management announces partnership with VTS Market across its US real estate portfolio
Manulife Investment Management announces the launch of VTS Market for 38 of its real estate assets within its US portfolio. VTS Market is the industry’s first integrated, online marketing platform that enables landlords and their teams to market and lease their available spaces remotely for the very first time. It provides clients with a virtual experience of available spaces through videos, 3D walkthroughs, virtual renderings, photos, and floor plans while also integrating with existing workflows and providing powerful analytics. The purpose of the platform is not to replace in-person touring but to shortlist top preferences, resulting in a more efficient user experience for the tenant, broker, and landlord.
Manulife Investment Management partners with industry-leading organizations to continually provide innovative solutions for its clients and employees. “Within one of the most challenging commercial real estate markets, ensuring we’re able to continuously provide for our clients is one of our key priorities,” said Erik Gustafson, head of US real estate asset management at Manulife Investment Management. “Over the past few years, we have worked to optimize our leasing and tour activity, including the introduction of short form leases and 100% virtual touring. The pandemic has simply accelerated the adoption of these practices and further legitimized their value.”
"The past 18 months of the pandemic have required landlords to rethink their operations and management strategies in order to pivot in an unpredictable market. Simply put, no one is doing business the same way they previously were", said Nick Romito, CEO of VTS. "With VTS Market, leading landlords such as Manulife Investment Management have moved away from the offline marketing methods of the past in order to better serve their clients, while more easily capturing demand in a fully-digital, data-driven way, giving them a significant competitive advantage in the market."
In addition to the recent addition of the US portfolio, Manulife Investment Management is currently in the process of onboarding the Canadian office portfolio beginning with the Greater Toronto Area.
