ETF series offer a way to access traditional mutual funds through an ETF structure and provide choice to advisors when it comes to addressing varying investor needs.

Unlike mutual funds, ETF series units are traded on an exchange and offer features such as intraday liquidity and greater ease in bulk trading. Not to be confused with stand-alone mandates, our ETF series units are simply additional purchase options offered by our existing mutual fund strategies.
While it’s customary for a mutual fund to be offered across one or more series, the notion of an ETF series has only recently worked its way into mainstream discussion. In relation to their mutual fund counterparts, ETF series differ on many fronts, including fee structure, level of liquidity, and investment minimums.
Not only do ETF series provide a choice for investors, but they foster simplicity and an overall ease of doing business for advisors.
ETF series units are actively traded on exchanges such as the Cboe Canada or the S&P/TSX Composite Index and can be bought and sold at any time during the trading day.
Investors in ETF series units will often receive one consolidated end-of-year tax slip generated by their dealer, alleviating the complexities associated with sending and receiving multiple statements.
For investors that prefer the ETF structure, ETF series units provide access to an actively managed strategy at a cost similar to an F series mutual fund.
ETF series are often premised on existing mutual fund strategies, offering investors a gateway into historical performance numbers.
