Jasper’s responsibilities include the day-to-day monitoring and portfolio management of all defensively-oriented, active systematic equity solutions within the team. Jasper also plays a key role in shaping the quantitative research that the Multi-Asset Solutions team undertakes. Previously, Jasper was a senior member of Manulife Investment Management’s global risk team, responsible for the risk management function of the firm’s multi-asset funds. Prior to that, he was responsible for developing quantitative models for the firm’s various equity strategies as well as for in-depth portfolio risk and attribution analysis. Prior to joining Manulife, Jasper worked at Barclays Global Investors and FactSet in the United Kingdom and before that, at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Shenzhen. Jasper holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Financial Risk Manager designations.
