Mathieu is responsible for the production of quantitative analyses for our clients’ portfolios as well as developing and improving quantitative tools and models. He joined the firm when Standard Life's Canadian operations were acquired by Manulife in January 2015; Mathieu originally joined the quantitative management team in 2011. Prior to joining Standard Life, he spent four years as a senior quantitative analyst at Innocap Investment Management, constructing quantitative target-risk portfolios.
