Matthew Kolodzie, CFA, P. Eng.

Matthew has a senior role in supporting the Canadian Fixed Income team’s credit research efforts.  He will have sector coverage, providing recommendations and research for Canadian investment-grade fixed-income mandates. Prior to joining the team, Matthew was the Credit Strategist on the Canadian Credit Sales & Trading Desk at RBC Capital Markets, where he provided relative valuation views and credit opinions across sectors and individual credits within the Canadian corporate universe. Other previous roles within the Fixed Income markets include Director Credit Research at RBC Capital Markets, Director Credit Research at CIBC Capital Markets, and Senior Vice President Financial Analyst at DBRS. Prior to entering the Fixed Income industry, Matthew gained several years of experience as a Professional Engineer, focusing on renewable energy developments in Canada and Asia. Matthew holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Professional Engineer.
