Robert Chepelsky, CFA

Client Portfolio Management Specialist, Canadian Fixed Income, Manulife Investment Management

Robert works with the Canadian fixed-income team on all aspects of product management, supporting client-facing teams in the effective communication and positioning of investment strategies with clients, prospects, and consultants. Prior to joining the firm, Robert worked at Morneau Shepell, where he spent 10 years as an investment consultant for pension plans and foundations. Before that, he spent 4 years at an investment counseling firm as a fixed-income portfolio manager, managing all the firm’s fixed-income assets, currency positions, and derivative positions, including three mutual funds on behalf of high-net-worth clients. He also has previous experience at Manulife Financial as an asset and liability analyst. 

From 2012 to 2018, Robert served as a member of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario Investment Advisory Committee, where he provided guidance on issues affecting the pension industry. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
