Biography

Chet oversees forest management operations on 1.7 million acres of investment grade timberlands, leases and timber deeds located within ten states across the U.S. south. He is responsible for maximizing the net present value of forest assets for timberland clients through appropriate silviculture techniques, maintaining and monitoring peak compliance with environmental standards, promoting team excellence and safety, directing timber harvest operations to satisfy long-term delivered supply agreements to several large industry mill customers, and exceeding our customers’ expectations. He accomplishes this with a team of 50 forest management employees, including the general manager of southern silviculture and five region managers. Prior to his current position, he served as general manager, harvesting operations manager, and marketing and sales manager in the firm’s western gulf division. Previously, Chet managed forestlands for International Paper for 25 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility across the southern US.
