Evan Newton, CFA

Evan leads the global investor relations function for Manulife Investment Management’s agriculture investment program. In this role, he proactively manages investor relationships and helps drive the global fundraising and strategy execution for agriculture. He’s also involved in new product development and is a member of the Agriculture Leadership Team and the Agriculture Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Evan was the director of business development at US Agriculture, LLC, where he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s institutional sales and marketing functions. Previously, Evan was the director of business development at Frontier Partners and before that, he was responsible for consultant and client relations at Evanston Capital. He started his career in investment management in San Francisco at Hall Capital and Passport Capital. Evan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
