For advisors: Need guidance with submitting GIA business? This page provides info on processing and submitting GIA business, as well as helpful tips and links to more resources.

Submitting business
Online Transactions (OLT) –login required
Use OLT to process most of your GIA and DIA business transactions. It’s where you’ll always find the most current forms. The built-in prompts and In good order edits will help ensure a greater level of accuracy, meaning fewer follow-ups for missing information.
Once logged into OLT, select START. From there, select a transaction type from the applicable section stated below and you’ll be directed to the correct location within Online Transactions:

GIA surrender fees
Login to My Segregated Fund Book to view your client’s GIA surrender fees (Market Value Adjustment and Expense Recovery) shown in the DSC column. GIAs and DIA can be identified by referring to codes in the Fund column or GIA and DIA in the Load Type column. Important reminders
You’ll need to provide clients investing in GIAs or a DIA with the applicable information folder and contract for the segregated funds contract they’re purchasing. These are available in the Related materials section below.
